These Cosmetic neuromodulators, or “wrinkle-relaxers”, are commonly injected into the superficial muscles of the upper face to soften wrinkles around the eyes and on the forehead. Expert injectors such as Dr. Jegasothy also inject these products in the lower face to lift a sagging neck, jawline, and corners of the mouth. They can also be injected to soften wrinkles around the mouth and lengthen an overly-round or “square” jaw.
Kybella®
Injectables
Dr. Jegasothy is the first physician in the United States to be approved by the FDA to inject Kybella®, on body areas other than the neck. Kybella® is the synthetic version of a gallbladder “detergent-like” salt which solubilizes and digests fat overall and melts fat cells in specific small fat deposits when injected into them.

Fillers
While this concept of restoring volume/youthful contours or enhancing facial features is only now becoming popular, Dr. Jegasothy has been injecting filler in this manner for over a decade. While mastering Sculptra® injection techniques, Dr. Jegasothy also became proficient using the hyaluronic acid fillers Juvederm®, Voluma®, and Restylane® for more fine line and local filling.
