Health and safety is our #1 priority. We follow the Center for Disease Control (CDC) COVID19 guidelines for infection control and social distancing to protect our patients and team members. During your visit you will see patients and team members wearing masks and other protective equipment as needed. Also, you will enjoy a new patient experience that maximizes contactless processes. We are practicing social distancing with modified scheduling, and controlled flow of people in our office. In addition, we use EPA approved disinfectants before and after every patient interaction, and conduct hospital grade disinfection to the entire office on a regular basis. These steps work together to ensure a pleasant, safe experience at the Miami Skin Institute. We consider ourselves pioneers of the current standards of hygiene and privacy for the last 2 decades, as all of our patients will attest. Luxury is clean & discreet! We look forward to seeing you soon.

We are also closely monitoring the medical literature for recent reports of filler swelling occurring after administration of the Moderna® vaccine for COVID19. As such, you may expect to sign a Moderna® vaccine waiver form if you visit our practice for filler until the medical community knows more about this issue.

Dr. Jegasothy

Dr. Jegasothy specializes in Cosmetic Dermatology and is Associate Professor of Dermatology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine

“While my double Ivy League education lets you know I am intelligent, I feel that I have become even more accomplished in my field of cosmetic dermatology because, as a symphony musician constantly perfects their craft so have I constantly improved my injecting skills. I believe that my technical skills are as good as they are because my mother and grandmother were master seamstresses, and they taught me the precision and fine motor skills required for intricate needlepoint, and therefore skin injections, since I was 5 years old.”
